NEW CANAAN, CT – Horizons at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) will host its biennial benefit on Friday, April 24, 2026, at The Loading Dock in Stamford. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., this vibrant community event is open to the public and serves as the organization's primary fundraiser to support academic and enrichment tuition-free programming for 400 under-resourced Norwalk and Stamford students annually.
The evening’s theme, "The Sky’s the Limit! Where Futures Take Flight," will celebrate the transformative impact the program has had. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, a seated dinner catered by the renowned Abigail Kirsch, a paddle raise, and dancing.
The event will be emceed by Dr. Kevin Thompson, a distinguished alumnus of the program, former staff member, and current Assistant Principal at International School at Dundee in Greenwich. Adding to the celebration, fellow alumna Danielle “DJ OhDee” Nelson will provide the evening’s soundtrack.
"This Benefit is more than a celebration; it is a critical investment in the limitless potential of our students," said Dr. Leanne Tormey, Horizons Executive Director. "We are thrilled to bring the community together to honor the success of our students and raise critical funds to ensure the continued success of our program.”
